There’s a website that I follow called The Dieline. They do reviews of labelling, graphics for products and they just recently did a review of the new Pepsi designs. Yes, Pepsi is redoing all of their products. The font is going to be the only thing consistent between all of the products, but apparently for Sierra Mist, they’re going for the “designer soda” crowd. I agree with you. I’m not so certain they hit the mark.
