See all that smog around the Atlanta skyscrapers … blame it on Alabama. It turns out Georgia collects smog from all of it’s neighboring states. I knew that damn state was trouble. First the wondergeeks and now this.
Thanks a lot, Alabama

Your commenters give me hope for my world, Brian – hope that I really can get away with whacking many, many people with the Cluebat Of Sarcasm.
It’s amazing how so many people just can’t see that sort of thing coming.

check this out player:First of all, georgia has more people than alabama and also has the busiest airport in the world.Atlanta has bad traffic which consists of a lot of bad drivers, with lots of bad cars. Okay, you got more airplanes, more cars, more airplanes, more cars. Here’s a suggestion. DO THE FREAKIN MATH. By the way atlanta sucks. It only gained popularity as a result of it’s economic boom during the mid 90’s.
p.s. Don’t forget to brush your teeth before you get in the shower so your clothes don’t get wet.

I find it odd that I’m being called to task by an anonymous poster for a year old article published by a major national newspaper, which quotes EPA reports on air quality.
Apparently the fact that normal wind patterns blow exhaust from interstate trucks and manufacturing facilities into Atlanta doesn’t affect this person’s assertion that existing pollution in his beloved state has no affect on neighboring areas.
Apparently that Skoal baseball cap nullifies the mighty thwack of the Cluebat against the hollow forehead.

Well, we just pollute Georgia with our smog in return for Atlanta taking a big fat dump in the Chattahoochee every morning and floating the turd downstream to Alabama. My wife’s family is from Valley, AL, and they don’t call it the "Chattadookie" for nothing. Thanks a lot, Atlanta!
