Multi-hour shutdown of the world’s busiest airport caused by bad software …. *sigh*
Worse yet, the software that caused the problem is designed to “test” the TSA agents. This means the people they are hiring are assumed to be incompetent and need to be poked in the [insert body part here] every few hours to keep them from letting guns/bombs/alligators/chainsaws into the terminal.
Pardon me while I go back, look at how much I paid in taxes to the government, calculate how many dollars I’ve contributed to the TSA through “September 11th fees” on my plane tickets, and buy a good bottle of whiskey to help numb the pain.
