Exit 64B

For many years, exit 64B on I20 West used to rule my life. This is where
one exits to I26 West, destined for Greenville & Spartanburg … then to
I385 … then I85 … then Hwy 123 … back to Clemson.

For years I used this route to visit my friend Brooke at USC. Brooke
introduced me to Suzan on May 1, 1993 … that kept me coming back to
Columbia until I left grad school in 1996. Visiting Suzan became a much
shorter drive after we got married.

I took exit 64B leaving my Dad’s house, bound for lunch with a friend
near Clemson. It’s not a bad exit as exits go. I like where it takes me.
