Cleaning House

It’s been a weekend that mirrors what’s going on in my life right now … reorganizing, getting reacquainted with what’s been, setting up for what’s next.

Cleaning out an office isn’t necessarily a life changing activity, but for me it was therapeutic. I’ve been trying to get past my biggest enemy … inertia. Getting moving is hard, but it’s easy to get rolling once you get a push in the right direction. Suzan’s rebirth is my push to get going, and it’s been good for us both.

So desks get moved, old documents get tossed, cables get untangled … lots of cables get untangled. My “office with mini-audio studio” is coming along nicely.
I’m ramping up Dragon*ConTV pretty soon, along with Suzan organizing our new monthly “games night” (friends pile into the house, play card games, chat). Add in time to reconnect with friends and there’s definitely a lot of inertia in my life.

Now where did I put those DVDs …
